Afternoon Snack: Fiber-Packed Muffins

Happy Friday! I know for a lot of people, “fiber-packed” sounds like a euphemism for “cardboard-flavored.” But the folks at Self’s Healthy Bites beg to differ. Case in point: These new Fiber One muffins.
These little guys come in flavors like wild blueberry, apple cinnamon bun, banana chocolate chip and mixed fruit, nuts and honey. (Um, did anyone else’s tummy growl just now?) Each contain about 170 calories and boast a whopping 7 grams of fiber, which fulfills almost 30 percent of your recommended intake for the day. So go ahead and have your muffin — and don’t worry about getting a muffin-top.
